Wraight was taking on Harvey Birch of Wigan today with a place in last eight for finals day tomorrow at stake.
Shropshire's other qualifier in the last 64 in round four on on Saturday, Chris Ball of St Georges, suffered an agonising 21-20 defeat against Greater Manchester ace Gary Ellis.
