Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has warned Wolves of a 'banana-skin' at Doncaster tomorrow as he pledged to ignore Birmingham's huge collision against Reading.

Mick McCarthy's side will know the result of the second versus third game at St Andrew's, which kicks off at 12.45pm, when they step out for their first competitive visit to the Keepmoat Stadium.

Wolves' lead at the top could be halved again to three points, a lead Blues chairman David Gold is confident can be eaten up.

But McCarthy's top league scorer Ebanks-Blake has assured Wolves' 3,200-strong sell-out following they won't be distracted – whatever the outcome.

"A draw would be the ideal outcome but that will not be in our thoughts at all," said the 14-goal striker.

"Knowing Birmingham and Reading are playing each other is enough because both can't win.

"Providing we win, whatever result they produce would be OK to us.

"But if they drew, we know anything more we achieve in our game is a bonus.

"We've got to carry on doing our business – if we win then we know we're guaranteed to go into Christmas six points clear, so we won't be looking at it too much.

"But we're not too bothered about them – the only thing we're focused on is getting three points, and knowing we're six points clear or maybe more, if we're lucky."

Ebanks-Blake believes easy-on-the-eye Rovers, who haven't conceded for four home games, will be just as difficult as the top teams and has challenged Wolves to go for the jugular early to stop them in their tracks.

"If we don't set about them early, it could be a banana skin," he said.

"I expect them to be exactly the same as Birmingham and Reading.

"I expect them to want to beat us, but although they're bottom of the league, sometimes that factor benefits clubs because they've got nothing to lose."
