Accusations of a witch hunt against Premier players were voiced at last night's Mid Shropshire AGM at the Coddon club.

St Georges secretary Tony Rhodes said he felt the Telford-based league should change its title to the 'Mid Shropshire Tanners Shropshire Anti-Premier League' as the debate about players 'doubling up' raged.

And it took the casting vote of Mid Shropshire chairman Dennis Lewis - after a re-count - to get the new rule through.
