The charity competition will be held at Donnington Wood on Sunday, September 16 (10am), with 64 places available at £10 a time - the bulk of which will go to the Bridgnorth club.

Organiser Steve Broome (07872-328566) is hoping to get sponsors to boost both the prize fund and money raised for Bylet.

"I have got great sympathy for Bylet as I remember my first club, The Nabb, being burnt down when I was starting out in the game. I know what they are going through," said Broom, who plays for Sir John Bayley in the Furrows Shropshire Premier League.

Bylet, who have got their floodlights working and set up a temporary bar, will entertain Donnington in the Premier tomorrow as they look to try and avoid finishing bottom of the table.
