"Apparently the greens at the normal venue, Rylands Rec in Warrington, are not up to scratch so, late in the day, we have come to the rescue," said a proud Jennings.
"The veterans will start at 9.30am and is a full day event, but we will still be staging the Tanners Team Doubles on the same greens that night, though some ties may have to be switched around."
The 'Quarry greens' in Shrewsbury have already hosted the British club championship and, just this April, the British Ladies equivalent.
And with Prees hosting the national finals of both the Isherwood Veterans Merit (Wednesday, July 4) and the British Ladies' Piearce Doubles (Saturday, August 11), county bowls followers are in for a feast.
