Staff and pupils from Buntingsdale Primary School, near Market Drayton, have been presented with three iPads.

The presentation was made by the Friends of Buntingsdale School in the school on Thursday. The group organises a range of fundraising activities including discos, fairs and coffee mornings.

Carolyn Keightley, chairman, said: "Since we started last May we have done various fundraising events such as bake sales, discos, and a really successful Christmas fair which raised £700.

"The upshot is the children already had seven iPads and we felt we would purchase another three to make it up to 10. This means the ratio of iPad to child is a lot less."
