Shaun Davies and Kuldip Sahota (incumbents), Labour

Kuldip Sahota and Shaun Davies

Shaun has lived in Telford all his life, having been brought up in the community and gone to local schools, and now lives in Dawley Bank with his young family. He is a solicitor by profession. He has been a councillor since 2011 and has been the council leader for three years. He has led the campaign against the Tory threat to our hospital, its overnight closure and downgrade.

Kuldip has lived in Telford for nearly 60 years, having worked at Sankey’s for 15 years before setting up his own business. He has served as a governor at Wolverhampton University and was at the forefront of developing Southwater, bringing vibrancy to our town centre.

Since being elected, Kuldip and Shaun have put their community first, securing record investment into the community. We transformed Dawley Town Hall and have secured the funding to revamp Malinslee Centre and improvements to Dawley High Street and Dawley Bank. They have secured investment in Safer Routes to School, LED lighting, new play park improvements, school expansion and ensured community groups and buildings have been supported.

Shaun and Kuldip seek your support to continue to put Malinslee, Dawley and Dawley Bank first.
