Jaguar has introduced a zero per cent finance offer for buyers of an XE or XF, in celebration of the change to the 68-plate.

With cars registered from September 1 donning the new licence plates, the British firm has brought in the limited offer to ‘make it more affordable than key German competitors’.

Customers buying a new XE 200PS R-Sport can get the saloon for £299 a month without paying more than the list price for the machine, following a £4,638 customer deposit with a £15,938 final payment at the end of the contract term.

Buyers of an XF 250PS R-Sport Auto and Sportbrake 250PS Portfolio Auto can get theirs for £349 monthly. The former is available with a £4,649 customer deposit and £18,887 final payment — with those totalling £5,659 and £22,692 respectively for the latter.

To be eligible for the offer, cars must be registered between September 1 and 30.

Rawdon Glover, managing director of Jaguar Land Rover UK, said: “The Jaguar XE and XF have proved time and time again that they are the best cars in their class – you only need to look at the countless awards they have won around the world.

“Class-leading driving dynamics, beautiful styling, excellent residual values and a fantastic range of powerful, eco-friendly Ingenium engines have kept both cars at the top of their game. And now, thanks to this new zero per cent finance deal with lower monthly payments than our competitors, buyers have yet another reason to choose XE and XF.”
