Honda confirms pricing, spec and grades for all-new CR-V

Honda has revealed full pricing and details surrounding its new CR-V.

Now in its fifth generation, the latest incarnation of the CR-V features a wide variety of standard technology and equipment.

All cars get parking sensors as standard, along with a rear-view reversing camera. Also included is Honda’s SENSING safety technology, with features such as collision mitigation braking system, forward collision warning and lane departure warning incorporated as part of the package. Higher-spec SR and EX grades also offer blind spot warning and cross traffic monitoring technology too.

That SR grade also adds a full leather interior and active cornering lights, while EX cars receive a heated steering wheel, hands-free power tailgate and heated rear seats.

Phil Webb, head of car at Honda UK, said: “The fifth generation CR-V once again raises the bar with the amount of equipment it comes with as standard at base grade.

“In an incredibly competitive marketplace, the new CR-V will stand out for sophisticated and sporty design alone and we have strong sales expectations for this car.”

Prices for the new CR-V start at £25,995 for base S grade cars, rising to £36,445 for top-spec EX models. The CR-V is also available with the option of either five or seven seats, offering more flexibility for those customers who need to carry more passengers.
