Arkonik shows off the Boulder – an immaculately restored Land Rover Defender
The British company has been sourcing and restoring Land Rover Defenders for customers all over the world since it was founded in 2007

Land Rover Defender specialists Arkonik have pulled the covers off its latest restomod project – the Boulder.
Based on a Defender 110 station wagon, the one-off Boulder is finished in a dark Bonatti Grey colour, which is set against contrasting black wheel arches and wing mirrors, as well as Kahn 1983 wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tyres.

The 4×4 has also been equipped with a wide array of exterior enhancements, including a Front Runner roof rack with ladder, a KBX grille, A-bar and front light guards. Further adding to the Boulder’s imposing looks are side and rear steps.
Arkonik has also heavily reworked the Defender’s interior, fitting front seats upholstered in grey leather, while an Elite Loc-box separates the two premium high-back rear seats. In addition, four tip-up seats have been fitted in the load bay area.

Other interior modifications include a retro 15-inch wooden steering wheel, brushed aluminium alloy gearknobs and an Alpine sound system that incorporates Apple CarPlay.
The Boulder is powered by a turbodiesel engine, and is being shipped to a customer in the US state of Colorado.

Arkonik has been sourcing and restoring Land Rover Defenders to cutomers’ bespoke specifications since the company was founded in 2007.
Based in Somerset, the British-based company primarily focuses on the North American market, where import regulations mean the majority of restored vehicles shipped there have to be more than 25 years old.
