West Midlands Ambulance Service said it received a call to a property on Mill Bank at 11.46am on Thursday.

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene.

A WMAS spokesman said: "On arrival we discovered one male patient.

"Sadly, despite the best efforts of ambulance staff it became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
