Mr Holmes died suddenly on January 4 this year at the age of 52 and a tribute during the cortege held before his funeral on February 10 brought Dawley High Street to a standstill when hundreds of people wore silly hats and a rode motorbikes.

"He was a happy, person who would play his guitar for hours and hours," said his son Ellis.

"He called himself 'Philly Hendrix' in tribute to guitar legend Jimi, and was known as Bod.

"He was also extremely close to his sister Jenny Hill who misses him dearly."
