BMW driver, 45, caught in Telford after taking cocaine gets road ban

A BMW driver who was caught after taking cocaine has been banned from driving.

Daniel Taylor, aged 45, drove a BMW 3 Series on Old Vicarage Road, Telford on August 13 this year.

A drugs test found he had 300 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine, a by-product of cocaine, per litre of blood. The legal limit, accounting for the possibility of accidental exposure, is 50mcg.
