A442 north of Telford closed after serious crash
Police dealing with a serious crash north of Telford on Wednesday evening have asked people to avoid the area.
The incident has taken place on the A442, between Telford's Shawbirch Roundabout and Sleapford – with the road closed as a result.
Police have described the crash as "serious" and urged people to seek alternative routes.
In a post on social media at around 5.30pm, West Mercia Operations and Communications Centre said: "ROAD CLOSURE – A442 from Shawbirch Roundabout to Sleapford (Near Bucks Head) following a serious RTC – Please avoid the area – Thank you."
