Two kitchen fires in Telford neighbourhood as cooker and chip pan catch fire
Fire crews were called to two kitchen blazes in Telford after a chip pan and an oven caught fire.

The chip pan fire happened at a home in Stebbings, Sutton Hill at around 1.12pm. Two fire engines were sent, but the blaze was out on arrival.
Later, shortly after 6pm, crews were called to another house fire in nearby Smallwood, Sutton Hill, where the cooker was alight. Again, two fire engines were sent, but it was out before firefighters got there.
An operations officer was in attendance at both incidents.
