Elliot, who plays for Blackburn Rovers and Kyle, who has just signed for Bristol Rovers, have donated signed boots to be auctioned for a charity ball.

The auction will be held during The Mad Hatter’s Valentines Ball, which has been organised by Julie Ward, who is hoping to raise £4,000 for Severn Hospice who cared for her father, Peter Ward, who died aged 77, in 2016.

The event is being held at Hadley Park Hotel, Telford, on Saturday – with only one table left available, with tickets costing £40 per person or £350 for a table of 10.

There are a number of items up for auction, including the signed football boots, as well as two tickets to a Blackburn Rovers game. Also up for grabs are a chocolate bouquet by Made For You, a bespoke cake by Crescent Cakes, a gardening voucher from Olives Landscaping, a one-off clutch bag by Buttonbury Crafts, a framed Ironbridge print and a one-off designed teddy bear.

Julie said: "I was thrilled to see Elliot's kind additions to the auction. His fans praised his generosity on Twitter and I hope to do him proud with this lot."

Elliot added: "I am always happy to help in any way I can for local causes that mean so much to people."

All of the items up for auction can be seen on Julie's Twitter page @evmoregirl. Public bids close at 10am on February 17. Those bids will then be the opening bids on the evening.
