A man who sent sexually explicit videos of himself to a woman from Shropshire – and secretly filmed another woman having a shower – has been given a three-year community order.

Igor Rusakov met one of the women from Telford through Tinder and she told him about a topless butler business she was setting up, Telford Magistrates Court heard.

Mr Adam Warner, prosecuting, said he became interested and she asked him to send her topless pictures of himself.

He sent her two sexually explicit videos of himself – one of which also involved an animal – and an indecent photograph.

Mr Warner said the woman was “disgusted” and found it “distressing” that an animal had also been involved in one of the videos. After she reported it to police, officers seized electronic devices from Rusakov’s home.

They found four indecent videos showing naturist activity with children.

Police also discovered a sexually explicit image of a person performing an indecent act with an animal and a recording of a woman having a shower.

Mr Warner said Rusakov was seen setting up the recording equipment before a woman was seen to take a shower.

He told the court: “In a police interview he admitted to all of this but he doesn’t show much in the way of remorse or accepting it as unusual behaviour.”

Mr Warner said Rusakov admitted that an animal was involved in one of the indecent videos he sent to the woman.

He told magistrates that the woman afterwards said she had never been exposed to such disgusting content before and in her opinion Rusakov should be banned from keeping animals.

Rusakov, aged 26, of Lower Ford Street, Coventry, pleaded guilty to voyeurism, possessing an extreme pornographic image, making indecent videos of children and sending two indecent videos and an indecent image. The offences date back to between 2007 and 2015.

Mr Paul Nicholas, representing Rusakov, said he had not contacted the woman he sent the indecent videos and photograph to for two years, arguing a restraining order was not needed.

He said Rusakov was already registered as a sex offender and had cooperated fully with police.

Rusakov was given a three-year community order. He will have to complete a sex offender treatment programme and 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days.

Rusakov was also ordered to do 180 hours unpaid work and pay £185 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
