The crash was reported at 9.30am today, and four fire engines attended the B4364 near Loughton, near a junction with Thorn Lane.

Police and the ambulance service also attended, though neither the woman or child were injured. Snowfall was reported in the area this morning, including in nearby Cleehill.

Claire Brown of the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called by police just after 9.30am to reports of a car in a ditch. One ambulance attended and assessed a woman and child, neither were injured."
