Controversial Bayston Hill housing scheme back up before committee
A controversial housing development will be back up before a planning committee next week – with councillors again asked to approve it.

Bayston Hill has been occupied continuously since before the Middle Ages and today it is the largest village in Shropshire. The village has plenty on offer for residents and visitors with a parade of shops, two churches, a library, pubs and Oakmeadow primary school - formed with the merger of the village's previous two schools. The area is also well known for reported sightings of a large black cat.
