Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club has increased its donation to The Grange.

Shrewsbury Severn Rotary Club will now give the town's Grange School £1,250, instead of £1,000, after being told their need is now much greater.

The club had been told that due to the cost of living crisis parents experiencing financial hardship are unable to purchase clothes and shoes for their children.

Members were told by Rotarian Kerry Ferguson that the head at the school would be ‘absolutely delighted’ with the increase due to the impact of the cost of living crisis.
