One appliance was mobilised by Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service from Shrewsbury fire station to Harlescott Lane, at about 2.24pm.

They were joined at the scene by a land ambulance and the police.

The fire service say no persons were trapped and they made the two-car road traffic collision safe. Their stop message was sent at 2.49pm.
