Quantity of hay catches fire
Firefighters were called to a field on the outskirts of Shrewsbury after a quantity of hay caught light.
A fire engine from Shrewsbury went to the field, on Crowmeole Lane, Copthorne at just after 12.30pm.
They used a hosereel jet to subdue the flames, which had engulfed around 25 square metres of hay and scrubland.
The incident was over within 40 minutes.
