Bright Owls, which is based in Shrewsbury town centre has been running a successful programme for several years and European students will be visiting the UK again this year to learn English and experience the UK’s unique culture.

The visiting students will be learning with Bright Owls during the daytime, as they participate in English classes and excursions - and host families are required to provide accommodation.

The students will be staying for two weeks, arriving on June 28 and leaving on July 12. A contribution of £140 per student per week is made, to help with the costs of providing host accommodation.

Marisa Fernandez of Bright Owls said: "This is always a really rewarding cultural experience for all involved - and we are looking for new host families to join our existing ones this year. Host families simply need to provide a bedroom, breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner. Transport to and from the school would be an advantage but not essential - Bright Owls would take care of the rest.”

She added: “We would love to hear from anyone that would be interested in becoming one of our host families this summer. Anyone interested should get in touch via the phone or email, to find out more.”
