NHS event to be held in Shrewsbury
A public meeting will be held in Shrewsbury next month tackling the issue of the condition of the NHS.
The meeting will be held at the University Centre Shrewsbury on April 7from 7.30pm until 9pm.
Co-organiser Jane Asterley Berry said: ‘The meeting, entitled 'Our Local NHS: Crisis? What Crisis?' will offer an opportunity to hear well-known speakers on the challenges facing the NHS both locally and nationally and to ask questions about issues which are important to them."
Speakers will include representatives of a number of prominent local and national organisations including Shropshire and Telford Hospitals Trust, the People’s Assembly Against Austerity, Health Campaigns Together, Keep Our NHS Public and Shropshire Defend Our NHS.
The meeting is free of charge but donations will be invited to support Shropshire Defend Our NHS.
