Dramatic blaze destroys car near Oswestry
A car was completely destroyed in a fire on the A5 north of Oswestry.
Emergency services were alerted just before 3pm on Wednesday to the blaze which happened between the Gobowen and Gledrid roundabouts on the trunk road.
A fire crew from Oswestry responded and put out the fire in half an hour.
No one was injured.
Firefighters used specialist equipment to gain access to the boot and engine compartment of the vehicle.
