In the early hours of Monday a car repair unit on the Rednal Industrial Estate was raided and power tools and a Mercedes Estate car in for repair were removed. The vehicle was later found burnt out in the Grimpo to Rednal Lane.

At about 10pm on Monday a group of men with a white transit van, cut a hole in the fence round a secured compound on the Maesbury Road Industrial Estate, Oswestry. They collected together eight, heavy duty batteries from cherry pickers and prepared them for removal. Police say the men made off without the batteries when they where disturbed.

On the night of April 5/6 a MAN box van with an aluminium scaffolding tower and some galvanised pipe work, was stolen from a services unit in Maesbury Road. It is though the vehicle was spotted on the Wednesday night in Chirk.

Anyone with information about the break-ins should contact Oswestry police on 101 or use the Crimestoppers number, 0800 555111.
