Grassland winner's walk
Grazing budgeting, reseeding decisions and precision nutrient management will be technical topics discussed at the British Grassland Farmer of the year winner's farm walk being held on Thursday, June15 at the farm of Eurig Jenkins and family at Pentrefelin, Talsarn, Lampeter SA48 8QE
The winner of BGS ‘UK Grassland Farmer of the Year’ 2016 and All Wales Grassland Champion – Eurig Jenkins opens his farm to demonstrate how it’s become an award-winning grassland business.
Visitors will be able to tour the farm which has 290 ha total grass and forage with a 90ha grazing platform for the 400 milking spring block-calving New Zealand Friesians.
