Top accolade for surveyor Charlotte
A Shropshire chartered surveyor is being put forward for a special award after gaining the highest mark across the UK in her professional examinations.
Charlotte Rogerson, a rural chartered surveyor at Berrys in Shrewsbury, secured the highest mark across all three parts of her Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV) examinations.
She will now be offered free attendance at the conference day of the national CAAV annual meeting and conference being held at Bristol in June and her name will be submitted to the RASE (Royal Agricultural Society of England) for the Talbot Ponsonby prize for agricultural valuation.
“I am absolutely delighted and proud to achieve this accolade,” said Charlotte.
“It makes the hard work and revision before the exams all the more worthwhile.”
Charlotte joined Berrys in 2014 as a qualified RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) surveyor after working as a rural surveyor in the north of England.
She comes from a Northumberland farming family and is a graduate of Harper Adams University, gaining a first class honours degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management in 2011.

Charlotte works as a rural practice chartered surveyor at Berrys, carrying out a range of professional work including agency, valuations, property management and compensation and is currently working flat out completing Basic Payment applications for clients before the deadline in May.
