Berrys and Lloyds TSB Agriculture are holding a series of breakfast meetings in north Shropshire to help farmers improve their business management and planning skills.
The courses, being held at Wem and Walford College, are run as a series of informal working breakfast meetings between 8-10am, covering topics such as trading profit-and-loss accounts, cashflows, risk management and benchmarking.
This well established course has already been run across Shropshire and Staffordshire and has been well received by farmers. It is hoped that the course will give farmers greater confidence when dealing with their accounts and a better understanding of financial and business planning.
Delivered by farm business consultants from Berrys and members of Lloyds TSB's agricultural team, each course of three sessions costs £90 plus VAT per attendee, with discounts for additional family members and under 30s, and includes breakfast.
The courses commence at Ashton Hall, near Wem, on Tuesday, June 5, and at The Harris Centre, Walford College, on Thursday, June. 21.
