Bidding fierce at store sale
A packed ring of buyers produced fierce bidding at one of the largest store sales held in the new market in Bridgnorth.
With not enough large bunches entered in the show, Judge, Walter Wight, from St Bowells in Roxburghshire, placed singles into the Championship with Mr Nigel Fieldhouse of L. H. Wardle Ltd winning the Yorkshire Bank Cup for the first time with a super Belgian Blue-cross steer.
Thanks went Richard Hamer of Yorkshire Bank for agreeing to sponsor the event for the fourth year.
