Under the hammer
Fodder and Single Farm Payment entitlements on both sides of the Welsh border will be going under the hammer at the first auction of its type at Shrewsbury Auction Centre.
Halls, which has a network of eight offices across Shropshire, Kidderminster and Mid Wales, is anticipating nationwide interest in the auction due to the varied entries.
"The fodder section includes straw, silage and hay on farms throughout Shropshire, which is expected to meet with good demand due to the current fodder shortage," said Halls auctioneer Tom Jones.
"We also anticipate a high level of interest in the entries of Single Farm payment entitlements from both England and Wales."
