Delight for the Powells
John and Richard Powell of Snead, near Churchstoke, were delighted with their win at the Royal Welsh Winter Fair.

They took first prize for a pair of carcasses of pure hill and upland breeds.
Their pair of Charmoise Hill lambs weighed 76 kg, and deadweight 19 and 18.5 kg.
The Powells also took two other first prizes for a pair of Charollais and pair of Rouge ´Beltex.
