Quality entry for Texel sale
A top-quality entry of 92 pedigree in-lamb ewes from three renowned Texel flocks attracted buyers from all parts of Britain and Ireland to a production sale at Shrewsbury Auction Centre.

Competitive bidding throughout the sale of the shearling, Genotyped 1 and 2 ewes resulted in a top price of 5,500gn for Hannah and James Draper's group one yearling by Muiresk Forever out of Humeston Juniper, which sold to an Aberdeenshire buyer.
Other top-selling ewes from the Drapers' Claybury flock from Montford Bridge, Shrewsbury, sold at 2,400gn, 2,200gn and 1,800gn.
Picture: 5,500gn was the price for this Texel yearling.
