A farm dispersal sale in north Shropshire next weekend marks the end of an era for a farming family which has been at the farm for 80 years.

Mervyn Hayward, of Foxholes Farm, Foxholes, near Wem, is retiring from farming after building up an interesting collection of farm machinery, implements and vehicles over the years.

Included in the sale, at 11am on Saturday, November 11, are three tractors - a Ford 5600, Massey Ferguson 135 Selectamatic and Fordson Dexta - together with a JCB digger with fitments, McConnell hedgecutter, a wide range of implements, machinery and tools.
