Sheep rescued from floodwater near Shrewsbury
Firefighters rescued a sheep from floodwaters near Shrewsbury today.

The animal had become trapped near Atcham Bridge.
Specialist animal rescue teams from Wellington fire station and firefighters from Shrewsbury used a boat to get on to the water and throw lines to rescue the sheep when it got stuck just after 7am.
It was taken out of the water by 8.24am.
