Teenage motorcyclist injured in crash on A483 at Oswestry
A teenage motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with injuries after a crash with a car on the busy A483 at Oswestry.
The crash on the Gwern-y-Brenin road near the Mile End Roundabout in Oswestry happened shortly before 1pm today, closing the southbound carriageway at Maesbury Road.

The vehicles involved were a blue Vauxhall Astra and red Yamaha motorcycle.
Jamie Arrowsmith, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said the teenage male suffered injuries to his left shoulder, elbow and ribs and has been immobilised. He was given pain relief before being transported to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further treatment.
Traffic was being diverted through the industrial estate and Weston Lane, but there were long delays for motorists for some time after the road had reopened.
