The five-year-old tortoiseshell cat from Shrewsbury is now up as one of three finalists to be crowned Hero Cat of the year in the Cats Protection's National awards for 2016.
In February Tink woke her owners Claire and Russell Hopkinson along with their sons Jake and Scott to a fire as they slept at home in Albert Gardens in February.
Daughter Lesley, who lives nearby and nominated Tink for the award, said: "My mum, dad and brothers were all still asleep at 6am when Tink jumped on top of my mum to wake her." When my mum opened her eyes she could see the room filling with smoke.
