Poll: Should teachers be allowed to strike
With hundreds of Shropshire teachers expected to walk out on strike on October 1 , we're asking Shropshire Star readers if teachers should be allowed to strike at all.

Teachers in Shropshire will join colleagues across the Midlands, the east of England and Yorkshire in striking on October 1.
A national strike by members of the two biggest teaching unions – the NUT and the NASUWT – is also expected to follow before Christmas, although no date for that has yet been set.
It means thousands of pupils will be given a day off, forcing working parents to make other arrangements for their children.
