Shoplifter jailed for stealing more than £400 of booze from Asda in Telford town centre
A shoplifter who stole more than £400 worth of booze from Asda and tried to steal another £200 worth from the same store has been jailed.
Michael Leaver, aged 42, targeted the store in Malinsgate in Telford town centre twice in three days in March this year.
The first time, on March 24, he failed in his attempt to lift £213 worth of stock.
