Costly mistake as BMW drug driver banned from the road and ordered to pay £765
A Telford motorist has been fined and banned after driving with cocaine and cannabis in his system.
Anthony Hodson, aged 36, drove a BMW on Trench Road, Telford, while under the influence on March 14 this year.
A test found he had 168 microgrammes of benzolecgonine - a by-product of cocaine - per litre of blood in his system. The legal limit, taking into account the possibility of accidental exposure to the illegal drug, is 50mcg.
