Man dies and four people arrested after attack in Shrewsbury street
A man has died after an attack in a residential street this afternoon.
Four people were arrested after reports of an assault in Berwick Avenue, Coton Hill, Shrewsbury, and West Midlands Ambulance Service has now confirmed the victim has died.
A spokeswoman said: “We were called to an assault on Berwick Avenue, Shrewsbury at 1.12pm. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midland Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene.
"Upon arrival we found a man with life-threatening injuries. He received advanced life support and advanced trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene but sadly, nothing more could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
