A man accused of carrying out a ram-raid at a Bridgnorth cosmetic appears before magistrates charged with dangerous driving
A man accused of carrying out a ram-raid at a Bridgnorth cosmetic store has appeared before magistrates charged with dangerous driving.
Christopher Talbot, aged 33, faced five offences relating to a burglary at Bodycare in High Street, Bridgnorth, on December 12 last year, where goods worth £391.53 was stolen.
The defendant, who appeared at Telford Magistrates Court via prison video link, also faced offences of burglary, theft from a motor vehicle, having no insurance and driving whilst disqualified.
The case relates to an alleged incident where a silver Mazda was driven through the double doors of Bodycare to allow thieves to get into the shop before loading the boot with cosmetics.
Talbot denies the offences.
The bench committed the case to Shrewsbury Crown court where it will be heard on October 30. Talbot, of Tennyson Road, Short Heath, in Willenhall, was remanded in custody until then.
