Moulin Rouge theme for YFC ball
Shropshire Young Farmers' Club members are now gearing up for the highlight of the year's social calendar with preparation underway for the Annual Chairman's Ball on Saturday, August 25. This year the theme is 'A Night at the Moulin Rouge Chairman's Ball'.
Shropshire Young Farmers' Club members are now gearing up for the highlight of the year's social calendar with preparation underway for the Annual Chairman's Ball on Saturday, August 25.
This year the theme is 'A Night at the Moulin Rouge Chairman's Ball'.
The Ball is being held at Green Farm, Longnor, Shrewsbury home of Jim and Pauline Thomas and family. There will be two live bands, one featuring Bob Hope from Emmerdale in his band the 'White Van Man.
Tickets are available at £20 in advance or £25 on the night to inlcude a hog roast and a late licence until 4am. Camping is also available.
Preceding the Ball is 'A Night at the Moulin Rouge Charity Concert' on Thursday August 23, also at Green Farm.
Clubs from across the County have been asked to use their talents of their members to depict the film Moulin Rouge with all proceeds going towards 'The Build Challenge 2012', a YFC project to benefit the local community.
