Paramedics and fire crew called to early hours crash in Shrewsbury
Paramedics and firefighters were called to a crash near a busy roundabout in Shrewsbury early this morning (Thursday, August 14, 2025).

The one-vehicle collision happened at Thieves Lane, near Emstrey island.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “At 4.21am SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a road traffic collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.
“Crews made the vehicle electrically safe.”
One fire engine was sent to the scene from Shrewsbury.
West Midland Ambulance Service has been contacted for an update.
