Greenacres Primary School celebrates Ofsted judgement and being upgraded after recent improvement
A Shrewsbury primary school has been praised for making improvements and upgraded by Ofsted.
Greenacres Primary School has been graded as 'Good' throughout the board after an inspection on March 18 and 19.
The school was graded as 'Requires Improvement' in 2022 and where inspectors said it had "experienced a difficult time".
However, under new leadership of Emily Kynaston, the education watchdog was impressed by the school's progress and satisfied that considerable improvements have been made.
Ofsted said more "stable leadership and staffing" has strengthened the school and described staff morale as "high".
Greenacres has been praised creating an "ambitious curriculum" of which reading is of a "high priority".
