Pointless host Alex Armstrong, and Dudley comedy legend Sir Lenny Henry were spotted in Much Wenlock town centre.

Bob May who snapped the celebrities at lunchtime on Friday, says the pair were shooting a Channel 4 series for production company Up and Away Studios.

He said: “In Wenlock and I stumbled across Up and Away Studios filming an episode of Perfect Pub Walks in The Square, to be screened on Channel 4.

“The host for this series is Alexander Armstrong who meets a guest in each episode, for this one we have Lenny Henry.”
He said Alexander Armstrong took a keen interest in the 'mushroom sculpture' in the town
Filming moved to the Church Green where local Much Wenlock organist, Brendon Quinn, was seen chatting with the director and stars.

The first series of Perfect Pub Walks aired last year and featured host Bill Bailey and featured stars such as Sir Trevor McDonald and musician Shan Ryder.
