A motorist who was caught driving after taking cocaine has been banned from the road.
John Casson, aged 50, drove a BMW 1 Series on Holmer Farm Road, Stirchley, Telford on August 6 last year.
Tests found he had 53 micrograms of cocaine and 800mcg of benzoylecgonine - a by-product of cocaine - per litre of blood in his system. The legal limits, taking into account the possibility of accidental exposure, are 10mcg for cocaine and 50mcg for benzoylecgonine.
