Plans to build home on site of car repair shop near Newport withdrawn after flooding concerns raised
Plans to demolish a vehicle repair workshop near Newport and build a detached home have been withdrawn after concerns were raised about flooding on the site.
Plans to demolish a vehicle servicing building at Tibberton Motors on Mill Lane in Tibberton and build a residential property on the site were submitted to Telford & Wrekin Council in December.
The proposal would have seen a two storey, four-bedroom detached home and a single-storey double garage built on the site.
The application stated: "The site currently has a vehicle servicing building in the northwestern corner with vehicle parking and storage areas around the remainder of the site.
