Church and scout treasurer faces court date over allegations of £170k fraud
A treasurer is facing three charges over allegations of a £170k fraud involving a church and two scout groups
Desmond Rogers appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court where he was told he faces three charges of fraud - relating to his position as treasurer responsible for three groups.
Rogers, 51, and from Hough Way in Shifnal, was not asked to enter pleas to the charges, with a further hearing scheduled for later this month.
