Shrewsbury father-of-four caught driving with large amount of cocaine in his system gets long road ban
A married father-of-four has been banned from driving for three years after a test revealed a large amount of cocaine in his blood.
Paul Smith, of Crowmere Road, Shrewsbury, had already been handed six points and a fine for a driving offence earlier this year, magistrates heard.
But a blood test later revealed that the 37-year-old had a level of 278 micrograms of cocaine per litre of blood, which is 27 times the limit of 10mcg per litre.
